BEHOLD

I have a fear that AI will replace us. That we, seemingly beyond our own judgement, are racing to eliminate ourselves with the aid of technology. I’ve had story ideas that center around this notion for well over a decade.

Storylines and visuals surrounding these themes have been trapped in my head (and some on the page) for nearly as long. When the opportunity arose to collaborate with some of my closest colleauges and friends to bring some of these images to life, I jumped at the chance. In concert with Adam Wilde of TRG Multimedia, and my long time collaborator, Nicole Merlino, we brainstormed a way to integrate state-of-the-art filmmaking tools with their post-production team. Not only CGI artists and editorial, but their CTO and AI wizard Ryan Hardy.

The video below is the result of all our hard work. Is it a “swan song” to our industry and the way we collaborate, or a new balance that we have struck?
